Marta grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota where she began riding Hunter-Jumper at the age of seven. After her own horse suffered a traumatic injury Marta began working in an equine hospital and continued her work through both undergraduate and veterinary school.
Marta obtained a BA in Biology with a minor in British Literature/Ancient English from the University of Rochester. Returning home, she attended Veterinary School at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine.
She is delighted to join The Equine Clinic At OakenCroft and looks forward to her year-long internship. Marta’s veterinary interests are varied and include imaging diagnostics, lameness, anesthesia, medicine, surgery, and reproduction.
Outside the clinic, Marta enjoys traveling, visiting family and friends, cooking, time outdoors, and spending time with her husband Chris, also a veterinarian.
